Instabact is an innovative biotech startup that created a cutting-edge system for microbiological self-monitoring. It provides real-time detection and, if positive, quantitative determination of the main bacterial pathogens. The system is already available for leafy vegetables (grade I and IV) and will extend to other foods shortly.

Thanks to Instabact, each member of the supply-chain can prove the absence of the target bacteria within one production shift, as opposed to current detection tests that may require a number of days. By providing feedback in a very short time, Instabact allows the operators to adopt corrective measures and take actions before the product’s release.
